The Department of Education have launched a pilot programme for special schools.  For information see link below.

https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/ea8fe-summer-prog-special-schools-temps/

They have extended criteria to allow applications from early childhood practitioners to work in an SNA role during the course of the programme – minimum 2 weeks, maximum 5 weeks long.

It’s a paid role and pay will be the same as the SNA rate of €16.77 per hour. The hours are 10-2 but employees are paid for the full school day.

In order to register interest applicants need to set up an account on educationposts.ie, go into ‘Advertise’ and then ‘summer programme portal’.
